Hawaii Island police are investigating a burglary last month at the Boy Scout Camp on Stainback Highway in Puna.

Officials report a Chu-Daiko drum valued at $1,000 was stolen from the premises sometime between March 18 and 22, according to the Hawaii Police Department.

Anyone with information about the burglary or the location of the stolen drum should call police at 935-3311.

Those who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
